Festival Preview // Sonisphere, 30th Jul-1 Aug

Beginning in Poland on June 16th with Metallica headlining, this year’s Sonisphere is certainly making an impressive mark.

Now heading to Knebworth with Iron Maiden, Motley Crue and Alice Cooper (to name a few) leading the way, the great travelling rock festival line-up reads like a who’s who of the older legendary rockers and is definitely all the more exciting for it.

Of course the bands chasing their rock status aren’t far behind and Gallows, Bring Me the Horizon and Fightstar bring Sonisphere the youth of ever-rising talent to contend with the old. Placebo, Good Charlotte and Skunk Anansie provide the stop gap between the ages to round off an immense spectrum across all stages.

One of the final dates after many over Europe promises to be a weekend to remember, and I, for one am excited to be there!
